A secretary, without employing one
Hiring a salaried secretary is a heavy commitment: recruitment, contract, workstation, holidays, cover… For many practices and small businesses, the administrative workload doesn’t justify a full-time position — but it is too big to be squeezed into your evenings, after consultations or client meetings.
Remote secretarial services meet exactly this need. I work as a genuine extension of your team: I use the tools you already have (online diary, mailbox, invoicing software, CRM, shared folders), I follow your procedures and I report back to you regularly. You stay in control; I take care of the execution.
Signs it’s time to get some help
Your evenings are spent catching up on admin
Invoices, e-mails, filing: whatever wasn’t done during the day spills over into your personal time.
Calls and messages go unanswered
Every request left unhandled is a lost opportunity or a patient growing impatient.
A full-time hire isn’t justified
You need 5, 10 or 20 hours a month, not a 38-hour-a-week contract.
Your organisation depends on you alone
The moment you take a break or business picks up, everything piles up and nothing moves forward.

- Regular follow-up
A weekly or monthly check-in to adjust priorities and the number of hours.
The benefits for you
You only pay for the hours worked — no social security contributions, workstation or holiday pay to fund.
Thirteen years as a secretary, much of it in a medical setting: no training period needed.
The volume adapts to your activity: more hours when you’re busy, fewer during the holidays.
Your admin keeps moving even while you are in consultation, in meetings or on the road.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an independent secretary and a salaried one?
An independent secretary invoices her services: you have no employment contract, no social security contributions and no employer obligations. You adjust the number of hours freely. For a full comparison, read the article “Independent or salaried secretary: which should you choose?” on the blog.
What is the minimum number of hours?
You can start with just a few hours a month. The simulator on the Pricing page starts at 5 hours, which already covers regular e-mail sorting or monthly invoicing.
How do you access my tools?
Through named accounts that you create and can revoke at any time (shared diary, delegated mailbox, business software). No password is ever shared informally.
Do you work with clients outside Brussels?
Yes. As the service is 100% remote, I work with clients all over Belgium, and beyond for needs in French, Dutch or English.
