E-mail, the invisible time sink

Reading, sorting, replying, forwarding, finding an old message: managing e-mails easily takes one to two hours a day for most self-employed professionals and business owners. And despite all that time, important messages still end up buried under newsletters and notifications.

I take charge of your inbox according to rules we define together. Simple requests receive a quick reply using templates you have approved; messages that need your decision are flagged to you with a summary; the rest is filed, archived or deleted.

Sound familiar?

Hundreds of unread messages

Your inbox has become an impossible-to-manage to-do list.

Late replies

A client waits three days for an answer that would have taken two minutes.

Lost information

An attachment or confirmation you can’t find just when you need it.

Checking e-mail in the evening

You deal with your e-mails after your working day, at the expense of your rest.

What I do in your mailbox

  • Daily sorting and filing into folders or labels
  • Replying to routine requests with approved templates
  • Forwarding important messages with a short summary
  • Tracking messages awaiting a reply and sending reminders
  • Unsubscribing from newsletters and setting up clutter filters
  • Drafting replies that you only need to approve
  • Managing a generic address (info@, contact@, secretariat@)
  • Correspondence in French, Dutch and English

How it works

  1. Auditing your inbox

Types of messages received, volumes, priority senders, recurring replies.

  2. Rules and templates

Together we write your standard replies and the list of what must be passed on to you.

  3. Daily handling

Your inbox is processed once or several times a day, depending on volume and urgency.

  4. Summary

A regular update on pending messages and matters that require your decision.

Frequently asked questions

Will you answer all my e-mails for me?

No, only those you have delegated. We define precisely which categories of messages I handle on my own and which are always passed on to you.

How is the confidentiality of my correspondence guaranteed?

I work through delegated access or a shared mailbox, on a secure computer. The information I see is used only for the purposes of the assignment and remains strictly confidential.

How much time should I allow?

It depends on the volume. For a self-employed professional receiving 30 to 50 e-mails a day, a few hours a week is often enough once the rules are in place.

Can you write in Dutch and English?

Yes, I write and reply in French, Dutch and English, which is particularly useful in Brussels and for an international clientele.
